It is insane how many diapers our baby goes through in a day so it makes us feel like we’re making a difference by using the mushroom pods. We also have had no issues with rashes since the diapers are unbleached.

What I appreciate most about HIRO is that they’re willing to have the hard conversations around waste, parenting, and sustainability with honesty and integrity. Learning about their mission and the plastic- eating fungi honestly gave me a sense of hope and inspiration. As a mother, I care deeply about the world we’re leaving for our children, and I’m grateful to see a company actively exploring new possibilities instead of accepting the status quo around single-use waste.

Absolutely love everything about Hiro diapers! I love that they fit and work great (no leaks or blowouts!). I love that they are made of organic cotton and safe for my little one. And the cherry on top is that they are good for our world! Win, win, win.

I love these diapers! After two stays in the hospital having to use yucky fragranced and bleached and chemical absorbency chemically-laden brands, we started looking for something better (we are usually cloth diaper people both for the lack of bad chemicals against baby’s skin and for the environmental impact) — we found Hiro and we love them! All the great things we want in a diaper and biodegradable, too! Now we stock them on hand in the car for just in case Heidi gets stuck in another hospital. She’s always tricking the medical types into thinking that she can’t breathe properly, so it’s a big risk for her.

I love that hiro is not only more planet friendly than your average diaper but the dryness of the organic materials are superior to the big name synthetic diapers that we have tried. A big pee will still feel dry but you can see that the inside liner of the diaper darkens (not as clear cut as the color changing blue line on other diapers). The customer service is also great and helped sort out diapers shipped to the wrong address.

I have zero guilt putting my baby in these. They move with my baby freely. I like the stretchy waste band. I love the credibility of the sourcing. They hold up so well during play time and car rides. No complaints!

We started our subscription about a two weeks before baby was born, and have been using it since. I’m not sure what happened, but we had about a two week lapse between deliveries so we found ourselves cycling through all the other diapers (buying small packs to try them out) and have been just disappointed. We cannot wait for the Hiros to be delivered. They’re the best.

Obsessed with these diapers. Will not go back to anything else. They are soft, absorbent, and the best eco-friendly brand I've tried. Got them for my second-born, and like them so much I got my toddler into them as well. Feels good knowing they are better for the planet :)

We were skeptical that these diapers would do a good job, and were expecting a leaky mess like we’ve experience with other eco friendly diapers and these have seriously surprised us in the best way - this may be the best diaper we’ve tried - equal if not better diaper than the speciality brand we switched from, but the non bleached no chemicals construction plus the ability to potentially eliminate the diaper and the plastic around it sends it far into first place. We didn’t know what to think about adding the spores, but ease of adding the pods adds a few seconds to the routine. We’ve started telling friends.

As a family thay mostly cloth diapers, these are by far the favorite of the disposables we have tried and I love that they wont sit in a landfall as long as the others.

These diapers are so soft and very roomy. We normally use reusable diapers but love Hiro for on the go and when we NEED to use disposables. We love that they are less plastic and decomposing.

These diapers are soft and gentler on my baby's skin than Kudos/less breakage and leakage, pretty much never fall apart if I change the diaper at least 3x times a day! I love the peace of mind that comes with knowing the plastic will get broken down, as there is no such thing as a plastic free one-use diaper! They do still leak overnight, pretty much always if I don't change right before bed. Overall, probably the best low-plastic one-use diaper on the market!

So soft on babies skin and they haven’t caused any rashes or irritation. They are less absorbent than other brands, but I haven’t had any major blow outs because of it. I really like them so far! Love how easy it is to update and change my subscription, and shipping is pretty fast. Stoked about this company and all it’s doing to reduce waste and solve this huge issue!!

I’d give it 5 stars if it weren’t for two things: the cost of shipping is wild. I’d rather have some of that baked into the cost of the product than sticker shock at checkout. And I wish the subscription options including more or less diapers and wipes/no wipes.

Otherwise wow these diapers are so soft and hold massive amounts of sh*t (my boy is a big pooper) and it feels good to do right by the planet. We’re also doing EC so I’m really happy to support a high quality product with a company that genuinely cares about doing right.

We are loving our Hiro diapers. They work just as well as any other diaper we've tried (Honest, Terra, Pampers, etc.) and it feels so much better knowing that these will decompose as much as possible stop contributing to the landfill. I was curious but skeptical and I'm really happy we made the switch. Our daycare is even happy to add the little sachets to her diapers, no problem!

I am SO happy with this product! My baby doesn't get diaper rash, very rarely any blow outs, and the diaper is highly absorbent. Plus I actually feel excitement for the good this diaper is doing for our planet instead of shame when I throw them into the landfill bin. 10/10 recommend Hiro!!!

works exactly as advertised - it's a product I feel good about putting on my baby. Even if it didn't return to the earth in such a short amount of time, It would still be my diaper of choice.

These are the softest diapers I have ever used!! I also love feeling like a HIRO each time I put a mushroom packet into the diaper and toss it into the diaper pail. These diapers are the BEST - highly recommend

These diapers are every bit as comfortable and absorbent as traditional ones, and we're ecstatic that we finally have a solution to eliminate waste that isn't cloth diapers. My only regret is that HIRO launched after our first two kids were already out of diapers. So grateful to Miki and everyone at HIRO bringing this revolutionary diaper to the market.

We LOVE the HIRO diapers. We did not love the wipes, as they are a little difficult to get out of the package. But now that they are being discontinued, I am not sure what we will do. I understand they didn't meet your standards- but the are probably better than 99% of the wipes out there- so now we will have to buy separate wipes that are probably worse for baby and environment. I am not sure how a disposable tushy and cloth will work- logistically

These diapers are great: super soft, they hold a lot and seem to absorb quickly, and the fit is nice and long (helpful when somehow poop starts to head right up the back!)

On top of that, customer service is outstanding: I chose the wrong size when ordering and they shipped me the correct size without issue. (website does not make it clear that NB and size 1 are one size…it lists those separately)

I purchased these because my baby was having skin irritation from another cotton-based brand, and his skin already appears to be calming down and healing almost immediately after switching to Hiro.

I don’t know that this whole mushroom pack thing actually works under real-life landfill situations (isn’t the problem that trash in landfills is so impacted it doesn’t breathe and break down? Do these ‘shrooms actually grow under anaerobic conditions?), BUT it’s a phenomenal idea and I am happy to throw my money at meaningful innovation when it comes with a great product.

Wanted to try the trial bundle to see how these diapers fit and held up. Hiro advertising says so much about the eco friendly tech, which I’m all about, but if a diaper doesn’t perform it’s hard to switch. VERY stoked on the performance. We’ve been using coterie and these diapers are on the level. My baby slept all night without needing a change, no leaks. Unfortunately didn’t get him to poop on one. I do wish the starter pack came with 10 instead of 5… i would’ve liked to see how they held up with a big deuce. Anywho, feeling confident enough that I think I’ll cancel my coterie subscription and give these a try. Feels so much better knowing these will break down and not stay trash for the next 400 years!

These are the best diapers, period. I love that they don't compromise on performance or sustainability. No rashes, no leaks, and no guilty conscience!
